In April 2006, Genesis
held it’s 8th annual open house in the Negev research
station in Ashalim.
210 people from seed
companies, universities, growers and related industries
in Israel and guests from North America and Turkey
attended the event.
The guests enjoyed a tour
in the research station, which includes 10 hectares of
fields, net houses and greenhouses, also exploring the
cooling facilities and the seed processing equipment.
Later the guests listened
to speakers, including the Israeli Minister of
Agriculture, The Mayor of Ramat Negev, the Rector of the
Hebrew University and Researchers from across the
country who made an appearance and addressed the crowd.
Finally, a delightful meal was served to the guests,
concluding another successful Genesis open house event.
