Seto Inland Sea Environmental Revival Committee (SISERC) is a non-profit organization, established in 2002, aiming at the environmental protection and sustainability of Seto Inland Sea by creating effective mingled networks among local governments, universities, industries, and citizens.

The SISERC facilitates the communication among people working in different fields but sharing the same ideas and goals about the environmental sustainability, and organizes local seminars and participates in international conferences such as "Seto Inland Sea Environment Forum," "Clean Life Seminar," "World Water Forum" and etc.

The outcomes of the conferences have been practiced in many different fields of industries, and its developed methods and technologies have been shared with and applied in the local communities and societies, and governmental and industrial facilities to clean up the contamination around the ocean, specifically, purifying wastewater and sewage in agriculture. This technologies and results has been introduced and reported to many other countries through the international conferences held in the Netherlands, the US, and Thailand.

The SISERC also works in agricultural field closely together with the International Nature Farming Research Center, a certifier of Organic Farming in Japan, a historical pioneer institution that has been developing and promoting the Nature/Organic Farming for over 70 years in the country.

The SISERC’s networks have expanded to many other organic agricultural institutions such as "Korin Agropecuaria Ltd" that are actively promoting organic farming movement in Brazil and Angola.

We believe that our network system creates sustainable communities around the area as a prototype, and this will contribute to an ideal sustainable city planning and development, and creating a healthy society and peaceful world.
