In May 2009, Genesis held it’s 10th annual Open house in Ashalim. Genesis invited the Israeli Seed Companies, Nurseries, and Major Grower to evaluate and demonstrate new introductions and commercial varieties.

In May 2008, Genesis held it’s 9th annual open house in the Negev research station in Ashalim.
The day featured a tour of the processing center and the trial fields, guided by company representatives, equipment demonstrations and a series of lectures.
Lectures were hosted by Mrs. Michal Ariel, Genesis Seeds Ltd. Sales Manager, and featured opening words by Mr. Shmuel Rifman, Council Mayor of Ramat Negev, Regional Council. And Mr Emanuel (Manny) Shemin, Director Marketing, Genesis Seeds Ltd.

- What’s New In Genesis Seeds today - Mr. Shai Nir, General Manager, Genesis Seeds Ltd.
- Global Trends In The Seed Industry - Mr. Ohad Zuckerman, Former President & CEO, Zeraim Gedera Seed Company

In April 2006, Genesis held it’s 8th annual open house in the Negev research station in Ashalim.
210 people from seed companies, universities, growers and related industries in Israel and guests from North America and Turkey attended the event.
The guests enjoyed a tour in the research station, which includes 10 hectares of fields, net houses and greenhouses, also exploring the cooling facilities and the seed processing equipment.
Later the guests listened to speakers, including the Israeli Minister of Agriculture, The Mayor of Ramat Negev, the Rector of the Hebrew University and Researchers from across the country who made an appearance and addressed the crowd. Finally, a delightful meal was served to the guests, concluding another successful Genesis open house event.
