Genesis Seeds was founded in 1993 by Dr. Isaac Nir and Emanuel Shemin. Privately funded and intent on bringing the best product to market, the company works with world-class geneticists and scientists from such prestigious organizations as the Faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Cornell University, and the Volcani Center - Agricultural Research Organization (ARO).

Working with these experts has enabled Genesis to grow quickly in the international marketplace and to expand its research and production capacity. Genesis now offers over 350 varieties of seed.

Genesis Seeds has been able to refine its organic production methods to produce high yielding seed in many growing environments. Genesis Seeds produces all its seeds in Israel.

Strategic sales and marketing alliances are being formed with Israeli, European, Asian and American seed companies. This enables Genesis Seeds to market its extensive range of high value seeds internationaly and to accommodate the rapidly expanding certified organic seed market in the 21st century.
